Attention to Detail
Rainwater is one of the most important things to consider when trying to address issues as a homeowner. Water hits the highest point of a home, and if you don’t ensure your gutters are clear and attached properly, everything below them is at risk of water damage. If gutters back up with water, homeowners can expect to pay for costly wood damage repair or replacement, including areas such as fascia, soffit, siding and decks. Water also damages the foundation and landscaping. If this is not addressed properly many structural problems can occur, which are extremely expensive and time-consuming to fix.
Gutter Protection
Gutter guards help prevent the buildup of debris in gutters, which in turn helps to protect the drainage and foundation of your home. At Mountain Drainage Solutions we use the UltraFlo steel powder coated screen as our main gutter guard of choice. We recommend this product because it has proven itself against many other big competitors. This gutter guard is an easily maintainable cover that allows water to enter the gutter despite having debris piling up.

How often do your gutters need to be cleaned?
There are two main seasons that dump debris, spring and fall. However depending on location you may have to clean the gutters more than just two times a year.  If you don’t properly maintain your gutter system you may be subject to overflow and possibly cause damage to your homes exterior or flood your crawl space or basement.
Do I need to be home for my service?
We know you can have a busy schedule, we can get the job done while you are at work or running errands! On your scheduled service date we will text you when we are on the way to your home and send your invoice via email when we are done. We strive to make maintaining your home a convenience.
What happens when you do not maintain your gutters?
Gutters that are neglected will carry heavy debris which has accumulated over time, in addition to standing water. That debris and water can weigh as much as 370 pounds, and can damage the angle of the gutter (known as the gutter’s ‘pitch’). If that pitch is lost due to excess weight, standing water can back up into the home or overflow into the home’s foundation, possibly flooding your basement, which is why clearing your gutters is so important.
Why should your gutters be professionally cleaned?
Although gutter cleaning may seem like a DIY task, it can be a dangerous, time consuming and dirty job. Our team of experts are well trained and fully insured to be on your roof. With each gutter cleaning, we professionally remove all debris from your gutters and downspouts and include a full gutter inspection. This gutter inspection will help us diagnose and repair potential rainwater-related issues, and we can give you on-site advice to help keep rainwater from damaging your home in the future.
